Olomouc to host Conference on Evangelization on November 13-14

Olomouc will host the Evangelization Conference on November 13-14, 2026, at the Clarion Congress Hotel. The event, themed "Let's risk in love," is designed for believers, active laypeople, and priests looking for new ways to share their faith.

The conference features Father Patrick Gonyeau and a team from the American organization Encounter Ministries as main guests. The Friday schedule includes a round table titled "Go and Proclaim" moderated by Father Libor Všetula, followed by a keynote lecture from Father Gonyeau. Participants will also attend workshops on evangelization principles, discipleship, social media, and working with teenagers. Archbishop Stanislav Přibyl will celebrate the Friday Mass.

On Saturday, Father Gonyeau will give a lecture titled "Renew my Church: a people sent on mission," followed by a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Josef Nuzík. Afternoon workshops will include a diocesan meeting on moving parishes toward missionary zeal, as well as seminars on evangelizing in schools, approaching people on the street, opening church doors to the public, and prophetic evangelization.
