Arquidiocese do Rio de Janeiro holds annual meeting with Dom Orani

About 350 professionals from parish and archdiocesan secretariats met with Archbishop Cardinal Orani João Tempesta at the Metropolitan Cathedral on Wednesday, September 30. The annual meeting, organized by the Pastoral Vicariate, provided a day of training, spirituality, and fellowship.

Father Alan Galvão, the archdiocese communication advisor, led a training session on the role of the secretariat in communication. The session covered institutional communication, visitor reception, the use of WhatsApp, and the handling of personal data. It also addressed procedures for managing press requests and requests from audiovisual productions such as films and soap operas. The training presented archdiocesan norms and protocols to ensure secretariats are integrated into institutional communication and can properly direct various situations.
