St. Agnes parish celebrates new renovations
First source report
St. Agnes parish in Mayerthorpe celebrated the completion and blessing of its new hall, rectory, office, and coffee room on Sept. 13. Archbishop Stephen Hero and pastor Fr. Curtis Berube joined the community for Mass to mark the opening of the renovated spaces.
The construction project began in August 2025 and was funded by a bequest from the estate of longtime parishioner John Blasko, received in August 2018. The parish completed the renovations without debt. During the construction period, the community held Masses and meetings at the Peter Trynchy Centre, provided by Pleasant View Lodge.
