Students give back to community, create calm space for young people in recovery
First source report
Students from All Hallows’ raised more than $26,000 to refurbish an outdoor space at Mater’s Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Service in South Brisbane.
The funds will pay for a new garden, landscaping, and a mural. The project was completed through a partnership to create a calm environment for the service's residents.
The withdrawal service provides a live-in program for young people between the ages of 13 and 21 to safely recover from substance use.
