They Declared War on Traditional Catholics (It was NEVER about Obedience)

Michael J. Matt reported that the Vatican barred the Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage from entering St. Peter’s Basilica while traditional Catholics also faced restrictions at Lourdes.

Writing for The Remnant, Matt stated that these restrictions occurred during the same weekend. He also noted that Cardinal Blase Joseph Cupich presented the Nostra Aetate Award to a pro-abortion figure, citing themes of synodality, listening, and accompaniment. Matt interviewed Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Bishop Robert Mutsaerts regarding these developments to argue that recent pastoral actions toward traditionalists are not actually about obedience.
