TING’ANG’A PARISH RAISES SUPPORT FOR HOSPITAL EXPANSION DURING FAMILY DAY

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Ting’ang’a Parish raised funds to expand its dispensary into a mission hospital during a parish Family Day in Kiambu County. The project intends to improve healthcare access for Ting’ang’a and neighboring communities.

During the event, Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi Obed Karobia urged parishioners to support community healthcare and strengthen family unity. He encouraged families to address conflicts and alcohol consumption through prayer and practical action. The bishop stated that contributing to the hospital expansion benefits future generations and that a parish should function as a family responsible for the wellbeing of its members.

The dispensary was established in 1974 by the Comboni Sisters. The Visitation Daughters of Mary have managed the facility since 2021.
