Mgr Pierre-Antoine Bozo publishes pastoral letter for 2026-2027

Bishop Pierre-Antoine Bozo issued a pastoral letter to the Catholics of the Diocese of La Rochelle to provide guidance and priorities for the 2026-2027 pastoral year. The letter follows the recent diocesan opening day and a visit to France by Pope Leo XIV.

In the letter, Bishop Bozo reflects on his first year in the diocese since his installation as coadjutor bishop on October 19, 2025. He noted his efforts to meet priests, deacons, religious communities, and consecrated persons through deanery tours and parish visits. He also mentioned participating in confirmations, the installation of new pastors, and various local pilgrimages and community events.

The diocese will soon distribute the letter to its parishes.
