Journalists can now apply for the papal flight to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru

Accredited journalists may now apply to join the papal flight for Pope Leo XIV's upcoming trip to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru. The Holy See Press Office announced that registration is open for those seeking admission to the aircraft during the apostolic journey scheduled from November 6 to 17, 2026.

The itinerary begins on November 6 with a flight from Rome to Montevideo. The Pope will visit Paysandú on November 7 before traveling to Buenos Aires on November 8. Following stops in Córdoba and Buenos Aires, the trip continues to Lima on November 11. The final leg of the journey includes visits to Chiclayo, Santa Cruz de Succhabamba, Cusco, and Pucallpa before the flight returns to Rome on November 16 or 17.
