Vladyka Jonáš Maxim concludes canonical visitation of Snine-Brehoch parish

Archbishop Jonáš Maxim of Prešov completed a canonical visitation of the parish in Snine-Brehoch on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

During the liturgy, Archbishop Maxim encouraged the community to pass their faith to younger generations. He cited the example of young people attending a liturgy celebrated by Pope Leo XIV on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées to illustrate that the fruits of teaching faith may take years to become visible.

The local priest, Daniel Šarišský, welcomed the archbishop with the custom of bread and salt. The visitation provided an opportunity to evaluate parish life and engage in communal prayer with the faithful.
