Pope Leo XIV describes Vatican II liturgical reforms

Pope Leo XIV has defended the liturgical reforms following the Second Vatican Council, saying they were necessary to encourage active participation by the faithful. The reforms promoted by the council are firmly rooted in the living tradition of the Church. The pope made the comments during his general audience at the Vatican on Aug. 26.
