Pope Leo XIV sent a telegram for the victims of the floods in Nepal, which have caused over 490 deaths and 1400 missing persons. The Pope expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved and assured his spiritual closeness to those affected by the tragedy. Cardinal Pietro Parolin signed the telegram on behalf of the Pope.
