Pope Leo XIV has called for international aid to help victims of the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The outbreak has claimed over 2,600 lives. The Pope also prayed for victims of a mining accident in the Central African Republic and remembered the 2016 earthquake in Italy.
