Pope Leo XIV assents to Minneapolis pastor's election as Damascus archbishop

The pastor of St. Maron in Minneapolis has been elected archbishop of the Maronite Archeparchy of Damascus. Pope Leo XIV has given his assent to the election. Archbishop Hebda praised the pastor's leadership.
