Bishop Krzysztof Wętkowski blesses Europe's tallest Mary statue

The Europe's tallest statue of Mary was blessed on August 15 in Konotopie, Poland. Bishop Krzysztof Wętkowski said the 55-meter monument is meant to turn people's thoughts toward God and serve as a place of prayer. The statue is the tallest in Europe, surpassing the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
