Christians worldwide mark 11th World Day of Prayer for Creation

Christians around the world mark the 11th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, launching a month-long ecumenical season of prayer and action for the environment. The season begins on September 1 and ends on October 4, the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi. Pope Leo XIV has called for renewed commitment to universal fraternity and caring for creation.
