Bishop Michael Olson establishes parish named after Saint Matthew Ayariga

Bishop Michael Olson of the Diocese of Fort Worth announced the establishment of a parish named after Saint Matthew Ayariga, a Ghanaian martyr who was killed by ISIS in 2015. The parish will be the first in the world to be named after Ayariga and will serve the Ghanaian community in north Texas. Ayariga was one of 21 Christian migrant workers who were kidnapped and beheaded by ISIS on a beach near Sirte, Libya.
