History
Bearing its present name since 1986, the Latin diocese of Adria-Rovigo (Latin: Dioecesis Adriensis-Rhodigiensis) lies in the Triveneto and is a suffragan of the Patriarchate of Venice. The comune of Adria sits north of the Po River, some 88 km (56 mi) north of Ravenna. The diocesan territory takes in roughly the northeastern Italian civil Province of Rovigo (though Rovigo itself is not an episcopal see) along with part of one town in the Province of Padua.
