Archbishop of San Antonio releases weekly message

Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, M.Sp.S., released a weekly message on October 30, 2026, describing the relationship between loving God and serving others as a rhythmic movement of breathing.

In the message, the Archbishop of San Antonio compared inhaling to loving God and exhaling to treating others with love. He stated that faith involves receiving life from God before sharing it with others. He noted that the Holy Spirit acts as God's breath within the Church and that the Eucharist provides the life of Jesus through his Body and Blood.

García-Siller encouraged the faithful to practice gratitude and kindness through specific actions, such as making phone calls, offering words of encouragement, or showing patience to family members. He concluded by asking Our Lady of Guadalupe to teach the faithful to live according to the rhythm of heaven.
