Archdiocese of Medellín holds Diocesan Encounter of Altar Servers and Vocation Schools

The Archdiocese of Medellín held a diocesan encounter for altar servers and members of vocational schools on Sunday, October 25. Approximately 1,200 participants gathered at the Metropolitan Cathedral, including members from the Seminario Menor de Medellín.

Father Reinel Zapata, rector of the Seminario Menor de Medellín and delegate for Pastoral Vocacional, presided over the Eucharist on behalf of Archbishop Ricardo Tobón Restrepo. During his homily, Father Zapata described the role of an acolyte as a servant of love and encouraged the children and young people to use their service at the altar to live and announce God's love.
