At Pauline Sisters’ Golden Jubilee in Kenya, Catholic Bishop Urges Young People to Uphold Integrity

Bishop Peter Kimani Ndung’u of the Diocese of Embu urged young people to reject corruption and maintain integrity during the 50th anniversary of the Pauline Sisters in Kenya. The celebration for the Pious Society of the Daughters of St. Paul took place on October 25 at the sisters' Westlands community within the Archdiocese of Nairobi.

In an interview with ACI Africa, Bishop Kimani stated that dishonesty, fraud, and the misuse of public resources contribute to poverty, unemployment, disease, and environmental degradation. He noted that the Pauline Sisters promote truth and honesty to help communities grow. The bishop called on people to fight corruption to protect human life and God's creation while working to improve the Church and the country.
