Bishop Alfonso Raimo to preside over All Souls' Day Mass

Bishop Alfonso Raimo will preside over several liturgies for the commemoration of the dead in Terni.

On Sunday, November 1, at 15:00, Bishop Raimo will lead a Mass for the deceased of the city at the Cimitero di Terni. The celebration will take place at the cross in the center of the viali and will be concelebrated by the priests of the city. During this service, the bishop will bless graves in the vecchio cimitero, including the ossario, the tombs of children, and common graves.

On Monday, November 2, at 10:30, the bishop will preside over a Mass at the chiesa di Santa Maria del Monumento at the Cimitero di Terni. This liturgy will include civil and military authorities and combatant and armed associations to remember members of the Corpi dello Stato who died in the performance of their duty. After the celebration, there will be a moment of prayer at the Sacrario ai Caduti, the tomba dei Garibaldini, monuments of the various Forze armate, Corpi dello Stato, and the monuments and common graves of those who died in the bombings of Terni.

At 17:30, Bishop Raimo will preside over a Mass in the Cattedrale di Terni to remember the deceased bishops, priests, and canonici of the diocese, including prayer in the crypt.
