Bishop Đaminh Nguyễn Tuấn Anh opens 2026 Pastoral Communications Meeting

Bishop Đaminh Nguyễn Tuấn Anh opened the 2026 Pastoral Communication Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, at the Xuân Lộc Bishop's House. Organized by the Social Communication Commission of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam, the first day of the meeting focused on the theme "Connect – Listen – Identify the Reality."

The meeting addressed the Catholic media mission regarding artificial intelligence, the responsibility to protect human dignity, and increasing cooperation within Church communication activities. During the opening Mass, priest Giuse Vũ Hữu Hiền, the commission secretary, urged Catholic media workers to act as faithful and wise stewards who use communication tools to build communion and proclaim the Gospel.

In his opening remarks, Bishop Đaminh proposed principles for Catholic communication based on the message of the document *Magnifica Humanitas*: respecting human dignity, serving the truth, building communion, and using technology responsibly.
