Bishop of Foz do Iguaçu Laments Desecration of Chapel

Bishop Sergio de Deus Borges of the Diocese of Foz do Iguaçu expressed regret following the desecration of the Capela Santíssima Trindade in Vila Borges.

During the early morning hours of October 27, unidentified individuals entered the chapel, stole the tabernacle and consecrated hosts, and invaded the building. The diocese stated that the local community notified the authorities once the situation was identified.
