First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV completed a four day visit to France from September 25 to September 28, 2026. During the trip, the pope delivered several messages regarding his convictions for the country and the French Church, according to reporter Mikael Corre for La Croix.

Bishop François-Xavier Bustillo of Ajaccio noted that the visit addressed a secularized society seeking spirituality. Bustillo stated that the pope's message serves as a call for Europe to recover its roots and soul while using dialogue to address war.
