Children of First Communion of Santa Joaquina de Vedruna share a day of conviviality

Children preparing for First Communion at the Santa Joaquina de Vedruna parish in Castellón participated in an annual community day on Saturday, October 25. Held at the Pinar del Grao de Castellón, the event included catechesis for the children, a celebration of the Eucharist, and formation sessions for parents.

Parents attended a talk on Life Teen, a youth evangelization methodology that the parish is gradually integrating into its pastoral work. The session also included a reflection on prayer and information regarding various diocesan initiatives. The parish plans to organize further formative meetings to help parents engage with these programs.

Parish volunteers accompanied the children throughout the day. These volunteers included youth from the Madre Vedruna School participating in the Aprendizaje-Servicio program and others completing Life Teen training courses.
