New book publishes Giovanni Testori's unpublished speech on Saint Francis

Publisher Il Saggiatore has released a book containing a previously unpublished speech by Giovanni Testori regarding Saint Francis of Assisi.

The text was originally delivered in September 1981 as an introduction to the conference "Francesco d'Assisi nella storia" at the Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome. Testori used Franciscan Sources to examine the life of the saint, though the speech was not included in the official conference proceedings at the time. The volume includes an introduction by Giuseppe Frangi and a postscript by Marco Marino.
