Convento dei Frati Minori di San Miniato to open exhibit

The Convento dei Frati Minori di San Miniato will open an exhibition titled Tesori Svelati to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of San Francesco. The exhibit displays historical, artistic, and liturgical items, including silver, textiles, and liturgical furnishings, alongside reliquaries containing fragments of the saio, the cingolo, and the ashes of the Saint of Assisi.

The event includes a presentation by Maria Grazia Tampieri, a monument protection coordinator for the San Miniato territory, and art historian Claudio Casini. A Mass will follow the presentation.
