Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass with approximately 700,000 people at the Place de la Concorde in Paris on Saturday afternoon, September 26, 2026. This event took place during the second day of his apostolic journey in France. Before reaching the stage for the liturgy, the pope embraced faithful people who waited for him along the Champs-Élysées.

During his homily, the pope described Jesus Christ as the true source of living water capable of quenching human thirst. He invited the faithful to share their faith with French society and prayed that the Holy Spirit would flow throughout the country. He also addressed families, encouraging them to remain courageous in their mission despite daily difficulties.
