Diocese of Cametá participates in COMIRE Norte 2 Assembly

The Diocesan Missionary Council of the Diocese of Cametá participated in the elective assembly of the COMIRE Norte 2 Regional Missionary Council from September 18 to 20, 2026. Held at the CNBB headquarters in Belém, the meeting brought together representatives from missionary councils across various dioceses in the COMIRE Norte 2 region.

Participants elected a new coordination team to lead regional missionary work in the coming term. The assembly included sessions to review the history, challenges, and progress of the regional council and its diocesan branches.

The program featured training on the 2026 missionary theme and established specific actions for dioceses to implement in the following months to improve missionary training and coordination.
