The Diocese of El Vigía-San Carlos del Zulia held celebrations on October 26 for the feast of Saint José Gregorio Hernández. The events marked the second anniversary of the canonization of Saint José Gregorio Hernández.

Parishes across the diocese observed the feast through the traditional novena and a central celebration. Two simultaneous Eucharistic celebrations took place at 6:30 p.m. at the Diocesan Sanctuary of Saint José Gregorio Hernández in the Las Cumbres sector and at the Saint José Gregorio Hernández Rectory in the Villa Milenio sector.
