Diocese of Vitoria to offer premarital encounters

The Diocese of Vitoria will hold premarital encounters for the 2026-2027 academic year in Vitoria-Gasteiz and rural areas of Álava. The sessions are organized by the Family and Life Pastoral office to help couples develop mutual trust, respect, and shared love through an evangelical perspective.

Oscar Areitio, the head of this area, encouraged couples to participate and asked parish priests to invite those preparing for the sacrament of marriage to join the sessions. The diocese is also available to organize private courses for couples who cannot attend the scheduled dates due to personal circumstances.

Interested couples can contact the Family and Life office by emailing pastoralfamiliar@diocesisvitoria.org or calling 945 148 171 between 10:00 and 13:30, Monday through Friday.
