Dom Francisco names 7 members of Diocese of Cajazeiras' Ecclesiastical Chamber

Bishop Francisco de Assis Gabriel dos Santos appointed seven members to the Ecclesiastical Chamber of Procedural Instruction for the Diocese of Cajazeiras by decree. The new members will assist ecclesiastical tribunals and the bishop in matters involving Church justice.

The appointed members include Father Damião Nunes as auditor and coordinator, and Father Moisés Alves Pereira as auditor. Father Francinário Linhares da Silva, Father Sebastião Neto, and Father Gustavo Ferreira will serve as notaries, while Vicente Félix de Moura Neto will act as secretary.

The chamber serves as an auxiliary body to help manage the instructional phase of legal processes, ensuring cases are properly prepared before being sent to competent authorities. These chambers help dioceses execute letters rogatory from regional or interdiocesan tribunals and assist bishops in administering justice, particularly regarding matrimonial causes.
