Bishop Guilherme Werlang shares reflections on the missionary month from Amazonas

Bishop emeritus Guilherme Werlang of the Diocese of Lages is currently in Itamarati, Amazonas, participating in missionary work. As the month of October concludes, the Diocese of Lages highlighted his testimony and his message regarding the commitment to announce the Gospel.

He stated that being a Christian requires being a missionary through a willingness to serve and love others. He noted that missionary work is an essential part of Christian life and can be lived in various ways. He referenced Saint Thérèse to illustrate that vocation is realized through love and can be expressed through prayer or concrete service regardless of one's location.
