Diocese of Phoenix lists family life ministries and support groups

The Diocese of Phoenix has published a list of family life ministries and support groups available to parishioners, including resources for those experiencing divorce, separation, and grief.

Parishes in Chandler, Scottsdale, and Mesa offer programs for divorced and separated Catholics. St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler provides a support group for those navigating separation or divorce, alongside ministries for annulments, mental health, and struggling marriages. St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale offers a ministry for reflection and healing, while St. Timothy Catholic Church in Mesa hosts a Catholic divorce recovery program called Surviving Divorce: Hope & Healing for the Catholic Family.

Several ministries provide assistance for those experiencing loss. Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ahwatukee hosts the Seasons of Grief Support Group in partnership with St. Benedict Parish. The Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale offers therapy, support, and counseling for grief and loss. St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler provides Seasons of Hope, a six-week adult bereavement support group. Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church offers The Journey Begins for those in the initial stages of grief and The Journey Continues as a transition from that program.
