Archdiocese of Huè reports parish opens catechism year

Phanxicô Xaviê Parish in the Archdiocese of Huê held a Mass to open the 2026–2027 religious education school year on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event brought together catechists, students, parents, and the pastoral council.

Parish priest Father Phêrô Nguyễn Vũ presided over the Mass, with assistant priest Father Giuse Nguyễn Ngọc Tân serving as co-celebrant. During the liturgy, Father Phêrô encouraged students to follow the year's theme, which calls each student to be a missionary disciple. He told the children that religious education is intended to help them know and love Jesus more deeply rather than simply memorizing answers or gaining knowledge.

Before the Mass, students gathered at the Nhà Hiệp nhất for breakfast provided by the parish Bếp Yêu thương and participated in group activities and games.
