Gyergyószentmiklósi Szent Erzsébet Idősek Otthona delivers meals to 40 elderly

The Rolling Lunch service, operated by the St. Elizabeth Home for the Elderly in Gyergyószentmiklós, provides warm meals to 40 socially vulnerable elderly people each month. This initiative by Caritas Alba Iulia delivers food directly to the homes of recipients.

The service assists individuals with no income or low income, including those living alone or caring for a sick spouse. In addition to providing warm meals, the program distributes food packages containing basic groceries and offers guidance to those in need. The program intends to help recipients maintain their independence and live with dignity in their own homes.
