Hermandad Franciscana to inaugurate exhibition on October 29

The Hermandad Franciscana del Santísimo Cristo de la Humildad will inaugurate the exhibition "Francisco. Instrumentos de tu paz" at 18:00 on October 29 at the Palacio Episcopal de Salamanca. The brotherhood postponed the opening from October 28 to show solidarity with the victims and families of the train accident in Urda, Toledo.

The exhibition is held in the Sala-Taller Núñez Solé to mark the tenth anniversary of the brotherhood and the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi. It features works from the brotherhood's art collection alongside pieces lent by other religious communities and brotherhoods. Visitors can view the exhibition until January 10, 2027.

The display traces the life of Saint Francis, the history of the brotherhood, its connection to the Holy Land, and the presence of Franciscanism in Salamanca.
