Pope Leo XIV presided over Vespers at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris on Friday, September 25. He led the service alongside bishops, priests, deacons, consecrated men and women, and seminarians.

During his homily, the Pope noted that the collective effort to rebuild the cathedral and the beauty of the finished structure show that the site remains a vital center of civilization. The cathedral reopened for worship two years ago following the major fire in 2019.
