Archdiocese of Sevilla's Delegation of Catechesis presents formation courses for catechists for 2026/27

The Catechesis Delegation of the Archdiocese of Sevilla has announced its training program for catechists for the 2026/27 academic year. Part of the Episcopal Vicariate for New Evangelization, the program includes two courses and various meetings designed to strengthen catechetical work. Both courses will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Archbishop's Palace.

The deepening course "Ser catequista hoy" consists of seven modules. Scheduled sessions include catechesis in the Church's evangelization process on October 24, the catechist on December 12, the recipient of catechesis on January 16, places for Christian education and initiation on February 13, catechesis and family on March 6, and new languages in catechesis on April 3.

The Curso de Pedagogía y Metodología also features seven modules. This program includes pedagogy and human sciences on October 24, the pedagogy of God and the pedagogy of the Church on November 28, catechetical pedagogy inspired by divine pedagogy on December 19, and the catechist as a pedagogue and the family as an educator in faith on January 30.
