Maru Cornejo describes holiness as a daily practice of small acts of love and service

In a commentary on the Gospel for the Solemnity of All Saints on November 1, Maru Cornejo noted that holiness is closer than many imagine. Cornejo stated that saints are not only the extraordinary figures found in religious images, but also anonymous people who leave a mark of kindness through simple, daily actions.

These examples include mothers who sacrifice for their children, helpful neighbors, or those who provide companionship during difficult times. Cornejo explained that the Gospel presents a way of understanding happiness that differs from worldly pursuits of triumph and accumulation, as it is rooted in a heart capable of loving, sharing, and forgiving.
