Pope Leo XIV visits France with 90 consacrés from Archdiocese of Reims

Pope Leo XIV visited Paris, Lourdes, and Metz in France, accompanied by pilgrims and clergy from the Archdiocese of Reims. During vespers at Notre-Dame de Paris, a group of 90 consecrated persons from the archdiocese attended the service with the pope. This group included religious sisters, brothers, priests, deacons, and their spouses.

The archdiocese also sent approximately 1,300 pilgrims to a Mass in Paris via 22 buses from missionary sites and schools. At a youth vigil held at the Stade de France, 400 young people from the Ad Altum chaplaincy participated. During this event, Sister Josephine-Bakita from the Cistercian monastery in Igny presented a gift to the pope. Additionally, the choir from Reims Cathedral performed during the vigil, including a solo by 14-year-old chorister Nomena.
