Leão XIV em França

Pope Leo XIV began his first visit to France on Friday, September 25, to discuss artificial intelligence, the future of Europe, and inter-religious dialogue. The trip, which marks the sixth international journey of his pontificate, includes stops in Paris, Lourdes, and Metz and is scheduled to conclude on September 28.

During his time in Paris, the Pope met with the president at the Élysée Palace and delivered a speech to the diplomatic corps. His Friday schedule also includes a visit to the UNESCO international headquarters and presiding over vespers at Notre-Dame Cathedral. The first day of the visit concludes with a prayer vigil for young people at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

The official itinerary for the trip includes nine speeches, four homilies, a greeting, an Angelus prayer, and a Rosary prayer. The Pope also has a private meeting scheduled with victims of abuse during this visit.
