Monsignor Leandro Diniz and Father Romário Campos receive citizenship titles in Campos

Monsignor Leandro de Moraes Diniz and Father Romário da Silva Campos received the title of Campista Citizen on Wednesday morning at the Plenário da Câmara Municipal de Campos. The honors were proposed by Silvinho Martins and received unanimous approval from the legislators.

Monsignor Diniz serves as the vicar-geral of the Diocese and pastor of the Catedral Brasílica Menor do Santíssimo Salvador. Father Campos is the administrator of the Paróquia Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

Monsignor Diniz noted that he lived in Campos as a student and returned to the municipality after his ordination. He has served the Cathedral and Bishop Roberto Francisco since 2017. Silvinho Martins stated the recognition was for the services the two priests have provided to society.
