Pope Leo XIV urged priests, seminarians, and religious members in France to act as missionaries and maintain personal prayer to deepen their friendship with Christ. During his visit to Notre-Dame de Paris, the Pope delivered these remarks in a homily following the celebration of evening prayer.

He noted that the current era appears to lack depth. This exhortation followed his walk through the streets of Paris.
