Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV called bishops, priests, deacons, seminarians, and religious to missionary conversion during a visit to the Cathedral Basilica of Notre Dame de Paris on September 25.

During the celebration of Vespers, the Pope urged the clergy and consecrated men and women to cultivate an authentic love for the liturgy and to maintain closeness to the Lord through prayer. Before the service, the Pope venerated the Crown of Thorns and adored the Blessed Sacrament. An estimated 300,000 people lined the streets of Paris as he traveled from UNESCO headquarters to the cathedral.
