Pontifical Works celebrate Mass for Missionary Month and World Mission Day centenary

The Pontifical Works celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving for Missionary Month and the 100th anniversary of World Mission Day. In Brazil, the Pontifical Works are responsible for organizing the annual Missionary Campaign held every October.

The theme for this year, selected by Pope Leo XVI, is "One in Christ, united in mission." The motto is "So that the world may believe," which is inspired by the Gospel of John.
