Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass for 800,000 people at the Place de la Concorde on Saturday, September 26. According to the Vatican, the crowd gathered in the area stretching from the Champs-Élysées to the square.

Before the liturgy, the pope traveled down the Champs-Élysées in the popemobile. During the Mass, he encouraged the gathered Catholics to share their faith publicly rather than keeping it to themselves.
