Pope Leo XIV has released a pastoral guide titled "Leo XIV Returns Home" to prepare the Archdiocese of Lima for his upcoming apostolic visit. The Archdiocese of Lima made the digital guide available for use by parishes, schools, religious communities, families, and various pastoral movements.

The guide contains four chapters that summarize documents regarding the teaching of Pope Leo XIV. These chapters cover his preferential love for the poor, the construction of peace, the protection of human dignity, and spiritual reflection.

Cardinal Carlos Castillo, the archbishop of Lima, said the guide helps the archdiocese deepen its understanding of the papal visit. He described the visit as a decisive part of the synodal process for the local Church, offering an opportunity to renew evangelization and improve service to the people.
