Pope Leo XIV tells Pontifical Teutonic College to preserve unity with him

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV urged the rector, priests, and members of the Pontifical Teutonic College of Santa Maria in Campo Santo to maintain closeness and unity with the successor of Peter and the apostolic faith. During a meeting to mark the 150th anniversary of the institution, the Pope emphasized that remaining faithful to the Pope and his teachings is essential to Christian witness.

The college was established 150 years ago as a refuge for German priests facing persecution during the Kulturkampf. Located at the historic Schola Francorum site near St. Peter's Basilica, the Pope stated that the college should continue to serve as a safe place for formation.
