Pope Leo XIV to visit France

First source report

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Pope Leo XIV will visit France from September 25 to 28, traveling to Paris, Lourdes, and Metz. During the four-day trip, the pope is expected to meet millions of people across the three cities.

Celestino Migliore, the apostolic nuncio to France, said enthusiasm for the visit has grown steadily among Catholics and others for several months. Father Donald Zagore, the national chaplain for African Catholic communities in France, noted that the visit is a source of spiritual nourishment for those communities. This trip marks the fifth apostolic journey for Pope Leo XIV.
